Introduction to SQL

This course offers students an introduction to basic concepts of relational databases and SQL programming language. SQL forms the cornerstone of all relational database operations. Taking full advantage of its power requires an in-depth understanding of the language. In this course, you learn to use the full potential of SQL to write complex queries for Oracle databases.

This course provides the essential SQL skills that allow students to write queries against single and multiple tables, manipulate data in tables,write subqueries,use SET operators,report aggregated data using group functions, create database objects, and query meta data. In order to query and manipulate data within the database, to use the dictionary views to retrieve metadata and create reports about their schema objects, participants get to understand the advanced features of SQL.

Basic knowledge of Data Processing concepts
